Works by Mozart, Moszkowski & Dohnányi
Renowned flutist Tara O'Connor, violinists Daniel Phillips & Sunmi Chang, violist Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt, cellist Angela Park, and pianist David Fung unite to celebrate Summit CMS' Season Three Opening Concert!!
Season Three will commence with Mozart's Flute Quartet; the 2nd movement of which was described by Alfred Einstein, Mozart’s biographer, as “perhaps the most beautiful accompanied solo ever written for the flute.” Moszkowski’s best-known and brilliant composition, the dramatic Moszkowski Suite for 2 violins and piano will follow. Season Three’s Opener will end in great Romantic tradition with Dohnányi's Piano Quintet No. 1, a piece greatly approved by one of the greats, Johannes Brahms, who widely promoted the work in Vienna.
